Supergirl is an American comic book limited series of the superhero fantasy genre. It was published by DC Comics and ran for four issues from February-May, 1994. The series was written by Roger Stern with artwork by June Brigman and inks by Jackson Guice. It was colored by Glenn Whitmore and lettered by Albert DeGuzman. The series was edited by Mike Carlin with Frank Pittarese as associate editor, and Chris Duffy as assistant editor.
This is the first comic series to feature the Post-Crisis Supergirl, sometimes known as Matrix. Matrix first came to prominence as the modern Supergirl in the "Return of Supergirl" storyline running through Superman #21-22 and The Adventures of Superman #443-444. This mini-series resolves a year's worth of subplots revolving around Supergirl's relationship with billionaire, Lex Luthor.
