"Trail of the Madman!" is the title to the first story featured in the first issue of the first Supergirl ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. The story was written by Cary Bates with artwork by Art Saaf and inks by Vince Colletta. It was lettered by Ben Oda. The second story is a Zatanna tale called "Castle in the Clouds". It was co-written by Len Wein and Marv Wolfman and illustrated by John Rosenberger and Dick Giordano. It was lettered by Ben Oda. Both stories were edited by Dorothy Woolfolk. This issue shipped with a November, 1972 cover date and carries a cover price of .20 cents per copy.
