The Super-sonic whistle is a fictional item featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He first appeared in The Sandman #1 in December, 1974.
The super-sonic whistle was used by Garrett Sanford during his time as the Sandman. He kept it on his person, and could use it to unleash and summon his two guardian nightmares, Brute and Glob. The whistle could also project super-sonic wave patterns, which Garrett could use to guide him through the Dream Dimension.
