"The Sun Dog" is a short story of the horror genre. It was written by Stephen King and is the fourth and final story in the anthology volume Four Past Midnight. The hardcover edition was published by Viking Press and released on September 24th, 1990. The story revolves around a teenager named Kevin Delevan, who receives a Polaroid Sun 660 camera for his fifteenth birthday. As he uses the camera however, he finds that the only images it produces are that of a dog, who progressively comes closer and closer to him - each time evolving into a more threatening and monstrous manner.
