"Kicked in the Teeth (Part 1)" is the title to the first issue of the third volume of Suicide Squad by DC Comics. The story was written by Adam Glass and illustrated by Federico Dallocchio, who handled both the layout art and final embellishments. Additional pencil work was provided by Ransom Getty with inks by Scott Hanna. The cover art illustration was composed by Ryan Benjamin. The issue was colored by Val Staples and lettered by Jared K. Fletcher. It was edited by Pat McCallum with Sean Mackiewicz as assistant editor. This issue was released with a November, 2011 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).

  • This issue went to second printing. The second printing cover is the same as the first printing cover, but with an adjusted red coloring tint.
  • First appearance of Voltaic, who becomes a regular character in the series.
  • Apparent death of Savant. He will be revealed to be alive however in Suicide Squad #6.
