Biography[]

Styglut was a mutant criminal from an alternate future timeline known as Earth-1191. He had the ability to siphon the life essence from living victims and convert it into energy, which he could then focus into energy blasts. He was one of the deadliest beings of his era and was responsible for more than three-hundred deaths.

Styglut and a group of his cronies attacked a New York City night club whereupon they engaged in battle against members of the Xavier Security Enforcers led by Lucas Bishop. Styglut's men overwhelmed the X.S.E. agents with superior firepower, resulting in the deaths of Bishop's top lieutenants, Malcolm and Randall.

Styglut escaped, but Bishop committed himself to one day finding him. He caught up with Styglut a short time later as he was about to avail himself of the life energies of two young women. Bishop attacked Styglut and the two exchanged power blasts until only one victor remained - Bishop.
