Sturky is a fictional robot and a recurring character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the Hulk line of comic book titles and first appeared in Incredible Hulk #269 in March, 1982.
Biography[]
Sturky was a little, red robot that resembled an alien creature. It had a wide lipless mouth, two appendages that served as legs, a tail, and a black mohawk. Sturky possessed the ability to affect the emotional state of others. He was the companion of Bereet.
When Bereet came to Earth in search of Bruce Banner and Rick Jones, she found Betty Ross in the Hulk's cave standing over an injured Rick. Betty began to lose her composure, so Bereet had Sturky leap upon her shoulder and use his powers to calm her down.
Abilities[]
- Emotion control: When in close proximity to another, Sturky had the ability to alter their emotional state.
- Super-leaping: Sturky was fairly springy, and could leap distances similar to that of a frog.
