Stu, surname unknown, is a fictional homosexual apocalypse survivor and a minor character featured on the FX Network television series American Horror Story. He was featured in the "Apocalypse" storyline from season eight and was introduced in the season premiere episode, "The End", where he was played by actor Chad James Buchanan.
Biography[]
Stu was a Caucasian male from Los Angeles, California. He was the homosexual lover of Andre Stevens. Both Stu and Andre were chosen by The Cooperative to survive the coming nuclear Armageddon and were taken to Outpost Three where they were relegated as members of the elite class, the purples.
The masters of Outpost Three staged a situation for the purposes of ensuring obedience from those under their care, so they made it appear as if Stu, and another gay man, Mister Gallant, had violated protocol by going outside, thus risking radioactive contamination. They were taken to a quarantine room where they were scrubbed down. Miriam Mead, fabricating the sensors on a geiger counter, determined that Stu was still contaminated and shot him in the head.
He was later cut up and served to the other purples at dinner. It was Andre Stevens who first sussed out the truth behind their meal, exclaiming "This stew is Stu!"
