Strontians are a fictional alien race featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They first appeared in The X-Men, Volume 1 #107 in October, 1977 in the form of Kallark, also known as Gladiator of the Imperial Guard.
Description[]
Strontians are a near-human alien race that hails from the planet Strontia. They are humanoid in appearance, but have purple skin, and possess enhanced physical characteristics that are common to the species, including the ability to fly and survive in outer space. By the current era, the race still exists, but are bordering on extinction, with only a handful of members left to it. Citizens of Strontia are members of the Shi'ar Empire.
