The Strangers is an American comic book series of the superhero fantasy genre. It was published by Malibu Comics under it's Ultraverse imprint from June, 1993 to May, 1995 spanning a total of twenty-four issues. The series revolved around a group of random people who were passengers on a cable car which was struck by a mysterious bolt of lightning. Those affected by this "jumpstart" were transformed into Ultras and given fantastic super-powers.
