Strange Tales is an ongoing comic book series that only lasted two issues. It was published by Marvel Comics in September and October, 1998 and was a double-feature title spotlighting the characters of the Man-Thing and Jack Russell, aka, Werewolf by Night. The title continued the storylines that were left unfinished from Werewolf by Night, Volume 2 and Man-Thing, Volume 3.

Notes & Trivia
- The character of Ted Sallis, aka the Man-Thing was created by writers Roy Thomas & Gerry Conway and artist Gray Morrow. He first appeared in the third story in Savage Tales #1 in May, 1971. Most of the early Man-Thing stories following his inaugural appearance were written by Steve Gerber.
- The character of Jack Russell was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas & Gerry Conway and artist Mike Ploog. He first appeared in the "Night of Full Moon... Night of Fear!" story from Marvel Spotlight #2 from February, 1972.
