"Beware -- The Deadly Dreadnought!" is the first story featured in issue #154 of the first Strange Tales ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Roy Thomas and Jim Steranko with layouts and finished art by Steranko. It was lettered by Sam Rosen and edited by Stan Lee. The second story is called "Clea Must Die!" and spotlights Master of the Mystic Arts, Doctor Strange, and is the fifth chapter in the Umar story-arc, which began in issue #150. The story was written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Marie Severin. It was lettered by Sam Rosen and edited by Lee. This issue shipped with a March, 1967 publishing date and carries a cover price of 12¢ per copy.

  • It is possible that Veritas is the same character as Sayge from Fantastic Four #212-213 as well as several issues of New Warriors, Volume 1. Both characters wear similar white hooded robes and appear to serve the same function.
