"The Sandman Strikes!" is the title to the first story featured in issue #115 of the action anthology series Strange Tales. The story was co-plotted by Stan Lee and Dick Ayers with artwork and inks by Ayers. It was lettered by Artie Simek. The story features Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, and guest-stars Spider-Man. The second story is a Doctor Strange tale titled "The Origin of Dr. Strange", written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko with artwork by Ditko. Both stories were edited by Stan Lee. This issue shipped with a December, 1963 cover date and carries a cover price of .12 cents per copy.
