Stick is a fictional blind warrior featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the Daredevil line of comic titles. He first appeared in Daredevil, Volume 1 #176 in November, 1981. The character has also appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in episodes of Marvel's Daredevil, and The Defenders, both of which were made available on Netflix's instant streaming video service. He was played by actor Scott Glenn.
Biography[]
Known only as Stick, this man was blind, but developed acute senses of spatial geography and hearing, which he referred to as proximity sensing. Despite his inability to see in a standard visual spectrum, Stick became a deadly martial combatant, even into his old age. He was the leader of an elite group of warriors called The Chaste, who were the sworn enemies of the Asian ninja society, The Hand.
