Abu[]
Abu was a young man who hailed from the Shavadai clan on the planet Simarka. He was the son of the Shavadai chieftain, Moughal. Abu wished to wed a woman named Nya, who was the daughter of a rival chieftain named Turghan. Abu was attacked by a pack of wild dogs, but was saved by the timely arrival of SG-1. Despite his seeming gratitude towards them, he succeeded in capturing Captain Samantha Carter and sold her to Turghan in the hopes of gaining permission to marry Nya. When Turghan refused, Abu and Nya tried to run away together, but were captured. They escaped, but Captain Carter had to face Turghan in mortal combat in order to get him to leave them alone.
