"Shadow of Malevolence" is the third episode of season one of the science fiction/fantasy animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which is based on the Star Wars film series and is a sequel to the 2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated movie. The episode was directed by Brian Kalin O'Connell with a script written by Steven Melching. It first aired on Cartoon Network on October 10th, 2008.

Allusions[]
- This episode makes use of the oft-repeated line "I have a bad feeling about this". It is spoken by one of the B1 battle droids. In the films, the line has been said by multiple characters at different points including Han Solo, Leia Organa, and C-3PO.
- Another trademark line is "Cut the chatter", which is spoken by Anakin Skywalker in this episode. The line is also used by Red Leader to Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
- Anakin Skywalker's nickname for Ahsoka Tano is "Snips".
