- Star Wars was created by writer, director and executive producer George Lucas. It first captured the imaginations of movie goers in May, 1977 with its inaugural installment, which has since come to be identified by its full title, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The movie led to two sequels, a prequel trilogy, a third trilogy, several spin-off films, and numerous television programs, animated projects, novels, comic books, and video games, as well as developing into a merchandising giant.
- This episode is included on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Complete Season Four DVD collection, which was released by Warner Bros. Home Video on October 23rd, 2012. It is also included in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Seasons 1-5 Collector's Edition Blu-ray collection, released on October 15th, 2013.
- This is the first appearance of Bo-Katan Kryze. She is a Mandalorian and a member of the Death Watch. The character will also make appearances on The Mandalorian live-action series. Actress Katee Sackhoff plays the character in both the cartoon series and the live-action series.
