Star Wars: Tales from the Empire is an anthology novel set within the framework of the Star Wars multimedia franchise. It includes select short stories that were originally published in the Star Wars Adventure Journal by West End Games. The novel was published by Bantam Spectra and first released in paperback form on November 3rd, 1997.
