Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is an American video game of the science fiction and fantasy genres. It is based on the Star Wars multimedia franchise as originally developed by writer, director, and producer George Lucas. It is a single-player fighter craft game developed by LucasArts and Factor 5. It is a flight simulator game that allows for both single-player functionality as well as cooperative split-screen game play. It was designed by Julian Eggebrecht and written by the team of Chip Hinnenberg, Ryan Kaufman, Kevin Schmitt, and Lynn Taylor. It was released for the Nintendo 64 and Windows PC on December 7th, 1998.
