Star Wars: Forces of Destiny is an American 2D animated television series set within the Star Wars multimedia franchise. The series was produced by Lucasfilm Animation and Disney Television Animation and began airing on the Disney Channel on April 14th, 2017. Season one of the show consisted sixteen episodes, with multiple three-minute vignettes per episode. The series focuses primarily on the female heroines of the franchise and spans all timelines and media, incorporating characters featured in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: Rebels, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
