"Darklighter (Part 1)" is the title to the eighth issue of the Star Wars: Empire ongoing comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics. The story was written by Paul Chadwick with artwork and inks by Doug Wheatley. The cover art illustration was composed by Kilian Plunkett. The story was colored by Chris Chuckry with lettering by Digital Chameleon. It was edited by Randy Stradley with Jeremy Barlow as assistant editor. This issue shipped with an April, 2003 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).
