Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is a single-person video game that takes place within the mythology of the Star Wars universe. Developed by LucasArts, it was released in 2002 and was made available for the Nintendo GameCube and Sony PlayStation 2 video game platforms. Bounty Hunter focuses on the character of Jango Fett, a bounty hunter introduced in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The storyline of the game takes place concurrently with material featured in Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace and reveals key information about Jango Fett's relationship with Darth Tyranus, fellow bounty hunter Zam Wesell and his clone "son" Boba Fett. The game also introduces the character of Montross, a soldier who, like Jango, was once a member of the mysterious race known as the Mandalorians. Dark Horse Comics published a four-issue comic book series titled Jango Fett: Open Seasons, which served as a tie-in to the video game and expanded on the past relationship between Jango and Montross.
