- Stardate: Unknown. As this episode takes place in chaotic space, the usual timekeeping standards do not come into play.
- This is the third appearance of the character of Boothby. He previously appeared in the fourth episode of season five, "In the Flesh". His first appearance was in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The First Duty".
