"Renaissance Man" is the twenty-fourth episode of season seven of the science fiction television series Star Trek: Voyager and the 169th episode of the series overall. Combining the episode count of all Star Trek-related TV shows to date, it is the 627th episode of the entire franchise. This episode was directed by Michael Vejar and written by Michael Sussman and Phyllis Strong based on a story treatment by Andrew Shepard Price and Mark Gaberman. It first aired on UPN on May 16th, 2001. In this episode, the Doctor goes seemingly berserk again and sabotages Voyager 's warp core, leaving the ship only capable of impulse power. Assuming the form of various crew members, he begins navigating himself throughout the ship taking out his comrades one by one.
