"Favorite Son" is the twentieth episode of season three of the science fiction adventure series Star Trek: Voyager, and the sixty-eighth episode of the series overall. Combining the totals of all of the episodes from the entire Star Trek TV line, it is the 459th episode in the franchise. The episode was directed by Marvin Rush with a script written by Lisa Klink. It first aired on UPN on Wednesday, March 19th, 1997.
