"Endgame" is the twenty-fifth episode of season seven of the science fiction television series Star Trek: Voyager and the 170th and final episode of the series overall. Combining the episode count of all Star Trek-related TV shows to date, it is the 628th episode of the entire franchise. This two-part series finale was directed by Allan Kroeker and written by Kenneth Biller and Robert Doherty based on a story treatment by Biller, Rick Berman and Brannon Braga. It first aired on UPN on May 23rd, 2001.
In this episode, an older future version of Kathryn Janeway has amassed enough technology to strike a decisive blow against the Borg. However, she needs the assistance of her younger self from the past and the crew of the Voyager to pull it off, with the promise of using the Borg's transwarp hub to finally get back to the Alpha Quadrant.
