"Little Green Men" is the seventh episode of season four of the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and is the 78th episode of the series overall. It first aired on November 13th, 1995. It was directed by James L. Conway and written by Ira Steven Behr, Robert Hewitt Wolfe, Toni Marberry and Jack TreviƱo. In this episode, a starship malfunction accidentally sends Quark, Rom and Nog back in time to the year 1947. They crash land on Earth in Roswell, New Mexico and are apprehended by the army. Fortunately for them, Odo, managed to sneak on board their ship before it left and is now tasked with finding a way to get them back to their correct era without contaminating the timestream.
