USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E

The USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E was a Sovereign-class starship utilized by the United Federation of Planets. It was the successor to the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D and was captained by Jean-Luc Picard in the year 2372. In 2379, the Enterprise-E was sent to Romulus when the Romulan government was subverted by the mad and dying Praetor, Shinzon. The ship was badly damaged in battle against Shinzon's warship, The Scimitar.
