Star Slammer, also known as Prison Ship, is an American independent low-budget film of the science fiction genre with an emphasis on the "women in prison" film trope. It was directed by Fred Olen Ray with a screenplay written by Michael D. Sonye, based on a story treatment by Sonye, Ray, and Miriam Preissel. It was produced by Viking International Pictures and the Worldwide Entertainment Corporation. It was released direct-to-video in 1986.
