Stanhope College is a fictional learning center featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It is part of the Silver Age Earth-One era of publication and first appeared in Action Comics #318 in November, 1964.
History[]
Also known as Stanhope University, Stanhope College was a collegiate learning center. Kara Zor-El attended school there after graduating from Midvale High School. She registered for classes under her human identity, Linda Lee Danvers. Stanhope University was once terrorized by a motorcycle gang called Nasty's Nasties, who were led by a woman named Nasthalthia "Nasty" Luthor, who tried to ferret out Supergirl's secret identity.
