"Living in the Ruins"[]
Jacqueline Falsworth, aka Spitfire, Eric "Blade" Brooks, Pete Wisdom and Faiza Hussain infiltrate a party of the British aristocracy held at a country house in Kent. They meet Amelia Bertram-Hayes - a vampire who has been selling secrets to Mys-Tech. Amelia leaves the country soon after, which means that the matter is outside the jurisdiction of MI13. Jacqueline and Brooks decide to pursue the matter off the books.
Spitfire and Blade later track Amelia's actions to New York City. Spitfire has a confrontation with the vampire in a partially constructed skyscraper. Their fight goes to the top of the structure, and Spitfire warns her that they are not here to arrest her. Jacqueline beheads Amelia with a super-speed karate chop.

Notes & Trivia[]
- This issue is rated T+ for Teen.
- This issue is UPC barcode number 7 59606 071142 00111.
- This issue is a Women of Marvel one-shot special.
- Blade makes reference to Steve Rogers's reception. This took place in Age of Heroes #1.
- A patron at the vampire bar states that they had Morbius in their once. Blade counters that "Morbius doesn't count". This is in reference to Michael Morbius, who is not a true vampire, but rather a living vampire. He has all of a vampire's powers, but he is not undead.
- Blade calls Jacqueline "Mary Frigging Poppins", a reference to the main character from the Mary Poppins children's book series by P.L. Travers, which was popularized in the 1964 film starring Julie Andrews by Walt Disney Productions.
- Amelia Bertram-Hayes makes reference to "Old Adolf", which of course refers to Adolf Hitler - Nazi shit-bag and Reich Chancellor of Germany from 1933 until his death in 1945. In Marvel Comics canon, Adolf Hitler was murdered by Jacqueline Falsworth's former Invaders teammate, Jim Hammond - the Human Torch, as revealed in Saga of the Human Torch #4.
