Spindrift Station is a fictional location featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It first appeared in Aquaman, Volume 8 #1 in August, 2016.
History[]
Spindrift Station was the first dry-land Atlantean embassy established on the surface world. It was located off the coast of Amnesty Bay in Massachusetts. Atlantean leaders Arthur Curry and Mera opened the facility and invited the press corps to tour the site. British Royal Navy officer Joanna Stubbs was invited to act as a Human/Atlantan liasion at the facility. Black Manta assumed the guise of Daily Planet reporter Ray Devane and infiltrated the embassy. He killed a captain of the Atlantean Royal Guard named Sark then planted explosives that tore through the building.
