Spike vs. Dracula is an American comic book series of the supernatural action and horror genres with an emphasis on vampires. It is based on the character of Spike, who appeared in episodes of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off series Angel, as well as the literary figure, Dracula, who was first envisioned in 1891 by Irish author Bram Stoker. The series is connected to the season five premiere episode of Buffy, "Buffy vs. Dracula", which revealed how Spike had a previous encounter with the infamous vampire lord. The comic series was published by IDW Publishing from February-June, 2006 and ran for five issues. All five issues were collected in trade paperback format.
Spike vs. Dracula was written by Peter David with artwork by Joe Corroney, who also did some of the cover art illustrations for the series. It was inked by Corroney and Jeff Dabu with coloring by Thompson Knox and lettering by Robbie Robbins and Tom B. Long. The series was edited by Chris Ryall.
