"The Devil is in the Details"[]
Spider-Woman finds Lindsay McCabe in a severe state in an alley - an apparent victim of Coachwhip and Puff Adder of the Thunderbolts. After fighting off the villains, she rushes Lindsay to the hospital. After which, she tracks down Wilson Fisk and engages in a full-on donnybrook at his residence, Gracie Mansion. During the fight, Wilson gleefully tells Jessica that it is her fault that she has become the target of his attention. He reveals how he previously freed Veranke - the skrull who impersonated Jessica during the Secret Invasion - and sent her to go after Jessica's loved ones. Veranke, assuming the shape of Spider-Woman, arrives at the home of Linda Carter, who is babysitting Jessica' son, Gerry.

Notes & Trivia[]
- The character of Spider-Woman was created by writer Archie Goodwin and artist Sal Buscema. She first appeared in the "Dark Destiny!" story from Marvel Spotlight #32 in February, 1977. She then launched into her first Spider-Woman ongoing series in 1978.
- This issue is Legacy number 113. Spider-Woman 113 redirects to this page.
- This issue shipped to retailers on January 12th, 2022.
- This issue is a "Devil's Reign" tie-in issue. See Devil's Reign #1 for the beginning of the story.
- The title of this issue is spelled out in spider webbing.
- It was previously believed that Veranke had been shot and killed by Norman Osborn back in Secret Invasion #8. This issue reveals that Osborn kept her as a "trophy" secured at Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane this whole time.
- Jessica Drew makes reference to when Wilson Fisk was infected by "medieval smoke demons". This happened in Doctor Strange, Volume 4 #23, though in fairness, it was actually a juvenile smoke demon, not a medieval smoke demon.
- Wilson Fisk makes reference to having his mind manipulated by Daredevil. This took place in Daredevil, Volume 5 #20 when the Purple Children removed the knowledge of Daredevil's secret identity from everyone's minds.
- Spider-Woman actually elbows Coachwhip in the boob in this issue. That is a rarely used, yet seemingly effective fight tactic. The sound effect used to punctuate this scene is "bewwwb".
