The Spider-Slayer is a fictional robotic device featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the Spider-Man line of comic book titles. It first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #25 in June, 1965.
Description[]
The Spider Slayer is a technologically advanced robotic device developed by criminal scientist Spencer Smythe. It was designed for the express purpose of destroying Spider-Man. There have been numerous models of the Spider-Slayer over the years, each one equipped with different capabilities and weaponry. Spencer Smythe's son, Alistaire Smythe, also developed his own version of the Spider-Slayer robot based on his father's designs.
