Spider-Man: No Way Home is an American feature film of the superhero fantasy genre. It is based on characters and concepts created & developed by Marvel Comics and is part of the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is the third film in the MCU's Spider-Man film series, and is the third and final chapter in the thematically titled "Home" trilogy. The movie was directed by Jon Watts with a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It was presented by Columbia Pictures and produced by Marvel Studios and Pascal Pictures. It premiered in Los Angeles, California on December 13th, 2021. Its nationwide release was on December 17th, 2021. The film stars Tom Holland in his sixth appearance as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. Co-starring with Holland are several notable MCU actors such as Zendaya as Michelle Jones "M.J." Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Marisa Tomei as May Parker, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan and Benedict Cumberbatch as former Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange. Other familiar faces that are new to this series but not to the franchise include Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin, Rhys Ifans as the Lizard, and Thomas Haden Church as the Sandman. Oh yeah... Spider-Man is in this movie also. And so is Spider-Man.

- The character of Spider-Man was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 in August, 1962 in a story titled "Spider-Man!" The character has since gone on to become one of the most well-known and enduring super-heroes of all time, having appeared in numerous comic book titles, as well as feature films, animated projects and video games.

- There is a mid-credit scene that shows Eddie Brock and his friendly neighborhood alien symbiote Venom in a bar in Mexico in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eddie & Venom blink away (presumably returning to their own reality), but Venom leaves a small sample of his symbiote sludge behind.
