- Events from this storyline have been retroactively allocated to Earth-Two continuity.
- Gat Benson is the mobster responsible for originally killing Jim Corrigan back in More Fun Comics #52 in 1940. This story was also chronicled in Secret Origins, Volume 2 #15 in June, 1987.
- This is the second appearance of Roger Hayden, the Psycho Pirate. He appeared last in Showcase #56 in 1965. This was where Doctor Fate bonded the Medusa Mask to him.
