Species: The Awakening is an American film of the science fiction and horror genres. It is the fourth and to date, final installment in the Species film series. It was directed by Nick Lyon and written by Ben Ripley based upon character concepts originally developed by Dennis Feldman. It was produced by 360 Pictures and MGM and released direct-to-video by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment on October 2nd, 2007.
