Spawn: The Dark Ages is an American ongoing comic book series of the medieval horror genre. It is a spin-off of the popular Spawn comic book series created by Todd McFarlane. Spawn: The Dark Ages began publication in March, 1999 and ran for a total of twenty-eight issues, discontinuing in October, 2001. The series features a former Hellspawn named Iain Covenant, who fought up against the Black Knight from the city of Rhyll in Europe during Crusades.
