A space pirate is like a regular pirate, except that they... well, work in space. Obviously their ships are space ships and not the seaworthy kind, so ain't none of them calling anyone a "landlubber", or any such nonsense. Also, they don't have parrots ubiquitously perched on their shoulders since there are no parrots in space. Otherwise, space pirates pretty much do the same ting that regular pirates do: scuttle ships, steal booty and illegally download movies off the internet.
