Space buck

A space buck is a denomination of currency featured in the Spaceballs film and animated series. It's exact value in comparison to other forms of currency is unknown, but it is presumably equitible to that of the US or Canadian dollar. In the film, King Roland of the planet Druidia, hired rogue pilot Lone Star to rescue his daughter Princess Vespa, who had been kidnapped by the evil Spaceball enforcer Dark Helmet and was being held for ransom. King Roland offered to pay Lone Star "a million space bucks", which Lone Star excitedly determined was "...a shitload of money". Lone Star was in dire need of a windfall for he was in debt to a gangster named Pizza the Hutt for a large sum of money. After rescuing Princess Vespa, whom he subsequently fell in love with, Lone Star learned that Pizza the Hut died after eating himself and he was now debt free. He declined accepting the reward money for returning Princess Vespa to her father.
