Sophie was a child and the daughter of a single mother living in a home in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Sophie's mother called the Bug-Bee-Gone company to come to her home and treat it for pests. One of the exterminators on the scene, A.J., prompted an extremely negative reaction in Sophie, who began crying immediately. Her mother was slightly embarrassed, and told A.J. and his co-worker Henry James, that Sophie rarely cried around strangers. Given the type of loathsome individual that A.J. actually was, it could be argued that baby Sophie was a good judge of character. (Exterminators 1)
Witchblade[]
Sophie was an assistant to underworld figure Tony Cugliani. She attended Tony when he went to the Rialto Theater in Long Island, where billionaire industrialist Kenneth Irons attempted to auction off the Witchblade gauntlet. Tony won the auction, but when he tried to put the device on his arm, it rejected him and burned his arm away. Sophie was present during this event.
