Solomon Grundy is a fictional undead super-villain and a recurring antagonist featured on the 1978 cartoon series Challenge of the Super Friends. He was voiced by Jimmy Weldon on the series and first appeared in "Wanted: The Super Friends". The character also appeared on episodes of Justice League Unlimited where he was voiced by Mark Hamill. Other iterations of the character have appeared in the 1978 TV special Legends of the Superheroes, as well as episodes of Arrow (where he is identified as Cyrus Gold) and Smallville.

- The character of Solomon Grundy was created by directors Ray Patterson and Carl Urbano and writer Jeffrey Scott based on concepts originally developed by Alfred Bester and Paul Reinman.
- Solomon Grundy is classically portrayed as a swamp monster. Perhaps the swamp where the Hall of Doom normally conceals itself is Grundy's native territory.
- As voiced by Jimmy Weldon on Challenge of the Super Friends, Solomon Grundy has an accent suggesting that he originally hailed from the deep south, perhaps even of Cajun origin.
- In the comics, Solomon Grundy first appeared in All-American Comics #61 in 1944. He was a foe of the Golden Age Green Lantern, Alan Scott.
