The Snow Creature is an American feature film of the horror genre. It was directed by W. Lee Wilder with a story and screenplay written by his son, Myles Wilder. The movie was produced by Planet Filmplays and distributed through United Artists. It was released theatrically in the United States in November, 1954. The movie stars Paul Langton as Doctor Frank Parrish, Leslie Denison as Peter Wells, Teru Shimada as Subra, and Rollin Moriyama as Leva. The premise of the movie involves a botanical expedition into the Himalayas. Naturally, they come upon a Yeti. Capturing it, the crew hauls it back to the United States where it escapes and goes on a kill-crazy rampage.
