Andrea "Snakebite Andi" Streiner is a fictional psychokinetic and a secondary antagonist featured in The Shining multimedia franchise. She appeared in the 2013 novel Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. She also appeared in the 2019 version of Doctor Sleep by director Mike Flanagan. She was played by actress Emily Alyn Lind in the film.
Biography[]
Snakebite Andi was the freshest Turn of The True Knot. Her Rube name was Andrea "Andi" Streiner. She was Turned in the 1980s, at age 32, when the True found her sleeper abilities to be useful. She had been using them to rob men she met in bars, after they agreed to take her out to a movie. After which, she would mutilate them with exaggerated 'snake fangs' on their faces. Prior to meeting Rose the Hat and her Turning, she considered her self Asexual, likely due to her abuse and living in a small town. After her Turning, she had a brief sexual relationship with Rose, other women in of the True, before having a long term relationship with Silent Sarey.

- The character of Snakebite Andi was created by writer Stephen King.
- Final fate (novel): Blunt-force trauma to the head caused by John Dalton.
- Final fate (film): Sustained gunshot injury caused by Billy Freeman during shoot-out between Billy & Dan Torrance against the True Knot.
- Snakebite Andi was the last member of the True Knot other than Rose and Crow Daddy to be killed during the gunfight between the group and Billy Freeman & Dan Torrance.
- Snakebite Andi is the only member of the True Knot who possessed psychokinetic powers prior to her Turning.
