Smash Comics is an American ongoing comic book series of the superhero fantasy genre. It was published by Quality Comics and ran for eighty-five issues from 1939 to 1949. The comic anthology introduced the Jester, Midnight, the Ray, Bozo the Iron Man, and others. Since being acquired by DC Comics, several of these "Earth-X" heroes became part of the Freedom Fighters and All-Star Squadron.
