Samuel "Slam" Bradley is a fictional private detective and a recurring character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He is a "hard-boiled" hard-talking no-nonsense sort of guy, with a physique and personality similar to many such characters from the pulp era. Slam carried his own back-up feature in the pages of Detective Comics. The character was later re-interpreted as a modern era character with ties to the Gotham City Police Department.
