Skull Island: The Birth of Kong is an American comic book limited series published by Legendary Comics. It is part of the shared continuity of the MonsterVerse and serves as a prequel to the 2017 feature film Kong: Skull Island. The book was written by Arvid Nelson with painted artwork by Mohammed "Zid" Yazid. It was colored by Zid, Riri Mashuri, and Muhammad Iqbal with lettering by John Roshell. The series was edited by Robert Napton.
