Skakoans are a fictional alien race featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. They first appeared in the form of character Wat Tambor in the 2002 film Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

Biology[]
Skakoans have green hairless bodies, with small lidless eyes, and thin mouths with no lips. They inhabit a methane-rich environment, which requires them to wear special pressurized suits when traveling off-world.

History[]
One member of the Skakoan race, Wat Tambor, became foreman of an organization known as the Techno Union, which aligned itself with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Separatist Crisis. Wat Tambor had a seat on the Separatist Council.

- In Legends continuity, Skakoans are identified as mammalian. In canon continuity, they are amphibious.
- Another alien race that hails from a methane-based world are the Morseerians. One of their members, Nabrun Leids visited the Mos Eisley Cantina in 0 BBY.
