Skaar is a fictional character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and first appeared in World War Hulk #5 in January, 2008.
Overview[]
Skaar was the son of Caiera the Oldstrong, who was a member of the Shadow People race on the planet Sakaar, and an altered Earthling who came to be known as the Green Scar. The Green Scar was actually Bruce Banner, better known to many as the incredible Hulk. Skaar's mother died in an accident that destroyed a large area of the planet, and the Hulk returned to Earth, with no knowledge of Skaar's existence. The child grew up in the wasteland of the planet, doing everything it could simply to survive. The surviving native population gave him the name Skaar. As he grew, Skaar fulfilled the ancient prophecy of becoming the Sakaarson, and laid claim to his people's mastery over the Old Power.

- The character of Skaar was created by writer Greg Pak and artist Carlo Pagulayan.
- Skaar was one of the regularly featured characters seen on Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., which began airing on Disney XD in 2013. He was voiced by actor Ben Diskin.
- Skaar appeared as a character in the Lego Marvel's Avengers video game by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
Abilities[]
- Accelerated healing: A mixture of his alien heritage, Skaar could recuperate quickly from physical injuries. This power could be negated by the effects of the Muramasa blade.
- Superhuman durability: Yeah, the guy can take a hit.
- Superhuman strength: He's the son of the Hulk. Of course he's friggin' strong! Class 100 strength level.
- Old Power: Skaar was destined to wield the Old Power, which is a version of the Power Cosmic, and can be channeled to produce a variety of effects.
- Geokinesis: An application of the Old Power, Skaar has complete mastery over earth and stone.
